The Role

Kids’ Club Attendants provide quality care for the children of CBRC members and guests, ranging in age from 6 months through 13 years.

This is an active, hands-on position. Our attendants supervise and engage with children, welcome families, maintain a clean and organized environment, and make safety a priority at all times.

We are looking for team members who genuinely enjoy children and understand that providing great care means being attentive, patient, engaged, and ready to interact—not simply supervising from the sidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive and responsible supervision of children while they are in the Kids’ Club.
  • Create a safe, welcoming, positive, and fun environment for children of varying ages.
  • Actively engage with children through age-appropriate play and activities.
  • Greet children and parents warmly as they arrive and leave the Kids’ Club.
  • Build positive relationships with children and communicate professionally with parents and guardians.
  • Remain attentive to activities in and around the Kids’ Club to help ensure the safety and well-being of every child.
  • Understand, communicate, and consistently enforce Kids’ Club and CBRC policies and rules.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, organized, and inviting Kids’ Club environment.
  • Set up and put away toys, activities, and play equipment as needed.
  • Be familiar with CBRC Emergency Action Plans and prepared to respond appropriately in an emergency.
  • Communicate concerns or important information regarding children to the appropriate parent, guardian, or supervisor.
  • Work cooperatively and professionally with fellow Kids’ Club attendants and other CBRC team members.
  • Model CBRC’s values of Character, Competence, Commitment, and Connections.
  • Provide excellent customer service to CBRC members, guests, and their families.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal Kids’ Club Attendant is someone children enjoy being around and parents can trust. You are attentive and responsible while also being warm, patient, playful, and comfortable interacting with children at different ages and developmental stages.

Strong candidates will bring:

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Two to three years of childcare experience is preferred.
  • The ability to communicate positively and effectively with children.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills when working with parents and guardians.
  • Patience, good judgment, and a caring approach to working with children.
  • A strong commitment to safety and attentive supervision.
  • Dependability and the ability to work scheduled shifts consistently.
  • A commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • The ability to work effectively and professionally as part of a team.
  • Infant and Child First Aid and CPR certification, or the ability to obtain the required certification.

Physical Requirements

Because caring for children is an active responsibility, Kids’ Club Attendants must be able to:

  • Safely lift, carry, and hold children as needed.
  • Lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Set up and put away toys, activities, and play equipment.
  • Sit, stand, bend, move around, and actively engage with children throughout a shift.
  • Stand or sit for extended periods during the workday.

Schedule

This is a part-time position with multiple shifts available throughout the week.

We are looking for dependable team members who can work collaboratively to provide consistent Kids’ Club coverage and a great experience for CBRC families.

Compensation

Pay range: $17.13–$18.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
