CBRC Health & Wellness Clinic was built in 1981 as a tennis club with 6 tennis courts, 8 racquetball courts, and a lounge. A 25-meter outdoor pool was added in 1987. The Clinic’s current ownership group purchased CBRC Health & Wellness Clinic in 1991. A few years later, in 1995, the Clinic expanded tremendously by removing two tennis courts and adding the cardio area/yoga/massage and a new tennis wing, which included outdoor clay courts and a tennis lobby.
In 2003 CBRC Health & Wellness Clinic became even more advanced. The Clinic removed five racquetball courts, added the kid’s area, moved the billing and membership offices, expanded the men’s locker room, and then added the party room, storage room, family changing area, and an indoor pool office.
Four years later, in 2007, the Clinic remodeled the women’s locker rooms and upstairs restrooms. In 2011, new equipment was incorporated into the fitness center which included 2 circuits and cable cross equipment. However, two extremely important years for CBRC Health & Wellness Clinic were 2012 and 2013. During these two years, Pelican Bay was built at a total cost of $2.5 million. The Sandbar, lifeguard office, zero-entry pool, lazy river, and play structure were all a part of the Pelican Bay addition.
