Paul Jones

Pickleball Director

Paul grew up in Yakima and moved to the Tri-Cities in 2010 with his wife, Bev, for work. They have four children and a growing crew of grandkids. After graduating from the Art Institute of Seattle in 1989, Paul built a long career in graphic design and the ad agency world. He grew up playing tennis and also played and coached volleyball.
Paul was first introduced to pickleball by a group of friends from work and quickly fell in love with the game. What stood out most was the incredible sense of community and social connection within the sport. That passion led him to found Club 509 Pickleball in 2018. One of his proudest accomplishments has been the five-year collaborative effort with the City to bring the public pickleball courts at Lawrence Scott Park to life; a milestone that remains especially meaningful to him.  Paul is incredibly grateful to make pickleball his full-time career and is thrilled to work alongside the team at CBRC.
