Escalante
We will split into two groups to explore the Slot Canyons of Escalante from different perspectives. One group will embark on a scenic hike through the Trio of canyons – Peek-a-Boo, Spooky & Dry Fork Canyon. Beginning at the trailhead of Dry Fork Wash, we will descend a few short cliffs to reach the sand dunes. Following the creek wash, we will first encounter Peek-a-Boo before exploring Spooky by descending a gentle rock face into the canyon. Inside, we will traverse through the breathtaking landscape of red and purple rocks and arches, maneuvering through the narrow passages of the slot canyons. The other group will venture on a thrilling Canyoneering expedition, involving rappelling, basic scrambling, and partner assist techniques. Our guide will introduce us to the safety principles of canyoneering in the secluded slot canyons of Escalante. We will choose from 12 local canyons, trek up to four miles, and experience 2-3 rappels up to 80 feet in length. No prior rope experience is necessary as we will receive expert guidance throughout the adventure!

Travel Day – Big Water
Today, we bid farewell to Escalante and make our way to Big Water. During our journey, we will stop for a hike and rappel the area’s popular slot canyon “the Huntress”. The adventure kicks off with a brief rappel to bring back memories of our rope escapade in Escalante. From there, the canyon drops down into larger slot canyons with some intermediate rappels as you wind through the beautiful sandstone walls. Experience the best hiking tour and canyoneering in Kanab, Zion, Bryce and The Grand Canyon. Afterward, we will finish our journey to Big Water.

Antelope Canyon stands out as one of the most popular slot canyons. Today, we’ll embark on a distinctive adventure, exploring the lower canyon through a combined hiking and kayaking tour. This presents a perfect chance to witness the breathtaking beauty of Antelope Canyon’s radiant red sandstone walls and the mesmerizing light beams that make it a standout attraction in the region. Kayaking through Antelope Canyon offers a remarkable experience of its own. As you paddle through the towering canyon walls, you’ll be able to appreciate the stunning views from the water. Accompanied by our experienced guides, you’ll navigate through the canyon’s twists and turns, creating unforgettable memories. If weather permits, there may even be time for a refreshing swim.
Following an unforgettable experience at Antelope Canyon, we will head to the overlook at Horseshoe Bend.
