FAQ
Q: Do I need to be an advanced skier to join?
A: Not at all! 3 Zinnen offers slopes for all levels, and our guided day is designed to accommodate varying abilities.
Q: Why the Dolomites? Why 3 Zinnen?
A: Imagine gliding down perfectly groomed runs as the sun breaks over jagged limestone peaks, their sheer faces glowing pink in the morning light. Welcome to the Dolomites — a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most spectacular mountain ranges on Earth. The 3 Zinnen ski area isn’t just about skiing; it’s about experiencing the heart of alpine culture. Here, five interconnected mountains offer a variety of terrain for all levels, from wide-open cruisers to hidden forest runs. Every turn reveals breathtaking views — dramatic cliffs, cozy villages, and peaks that seem to rise straight into the sky. Unlike larger, busier resorts, 3 Zinnen offers a more intimate, authentic alpine experience. The mountain huts serve hearty Italian and Tyrolean specialties, the towns are welcoming and picturesque, and the rhythm of life here is beautifully unhurried. It’s not just a ski trip — it’s a journey into the soul of the mountains.
Q: What is the Berg Hotel like?
A: Nestled high above the village of Moos, the Berg Hotel will be our alpine home for the week. With its stunning location in the heart of the Dolomites, the hotel is perfectly positioned to capture long hours of winter sunshine and sweeping views of the surrounding peaks. The Berg Hotel blends traditional South Tyrolean charm with modern comfort. Rooms are cozy yet elegant, designed to be a welcoming retreat after a day on the slopes. Many feature balconies that open to panoramic mountain vistas, inviting you to breathe in the crisp alpine air each morning. The hotel’s restaurant serves hearty breakfasts and gourmet dinners crafted with locally sourced ingredients, offering a taste of authentic Tyrolean and Italian cuisine. After skiing, you can unwind in the wellness area, complete with a sauna and relaxation space; the perfect way to soothe tired muscles and recharge for the next day’s adventure. With its warm hospitality, breathtaking setting, and easy access to the 3 Zinnen ski area, the Berg Hotel isn’t just a place to stay; it’s an integral part of the Italian ski retreat experience.
Q: What about ski equipment?
A: You are welcome to bring your own gear, and we can coordinate shipment of your ski equipment through ShipSkis for an additional fee. If you prefer to travel light, rentals are available directly at the resort.
