Group Classes: Pathways to Success
The ages shown are guidelines only. Placement into the next level classes will be at the discretion of the teaching Pro.
Red-Orange-Green Track (Ages 12 and Under)
In the Red-Orange-Green System of tennis development, court & equipment sizes vary according to players’ size and capability. Red, orange, and green tennis balls differ in compression, size, and speed from the standard yellow tennis balls, allowing for a more positive and less frustrating tennis experience. Players can stay motivated by rallying and having fun with tennis!
To maximize enjoyment and success at each level, we will be looking at a variety of factors when considering players for advancement. Cooperation and coachability are key, as well as mastery of the ready position, ready steps, and recovery steps. A short rally with a partner and an overhead serve to the correct box will need to be demonstrated.
