RX Medical Memberships
With a “prescription” from your provider, participants may be enrolled in our RX Medical Membership. Our RX Medical Memberships are temporary 60-120 day memberships. Our primary goal is to instill knowledge and skills to better manage chronic diseases, have members participate in health maintenance and preventive programs and activities, and help members recuperate from injuries or illnesses. We want to bridge the gap between health care and fitness by supporting clients to achieve physical fitness and continued recovery through carefully developed training programs.
Programs Available
FIT RX
For those with basic medical conditions: hypertension, Type II Diabetes, Osteoarthritis, Hyperlipidemia, Weight Loss (with no comorbidities).
- 60-day program
- Initial fitness assessment with activity plan developed by exercise professionals with providers recommendations.
- Meets with exercise professional every other week.
- Provider receives progress report at the end of the program.
RECOVERY RX
Conducted by credentialed exercise professionals that focus on orthopedic surgery and chronic conditions. Pre and post orthopedic surgery and post-cardiac/pulmonary surgery.
- 60-day program
- Initial fitness assessment with activity plan developed by exercise professionals with providers recommendations.
- Meets with exercise professional every week.
- Provider receives progress report at the end of the program.
TAKE CONTROL RX
For those with chronic medical conditions.
- 120-day program
- Initial fitness assessment with activity plan developed by exercise professionals with providers recommendations.
- Meets with exercise professional every other week.
- Provider receives progress report at the end of the program.
WEIGHT LOSS RX
For those needing to lose 15 lbs or more.
- Our program is conducted by Certified Food Coaches and is focused on developing a balanced and practical eating plan that can be maintained.
- 120-day program with before and after body composition testing. Macronutrient-based eating based on body comp and health conditions. Weekly food journal check and weigh-ins.
- Meets with exercise professional every week.
- Provider receives progress report at the end of the program.
