Alright, so you want to spend more time at the gym, and work off those last few pounds. Or you want to be able to play more tennis, or workout with your friends.
But you have kids. Obviously, you can’t take your kids to the gym with you. What is your toddler going to do, work on his bench press?
Wouldn’t it be great if there was somewhere in town – some gym, somewhere – where you could bring your kids, and still get a good workout?
Good news! Your friendly, neighborhood racquet club is just the place you’re looking for.
Here at CBRC, we have everything you need to keep your kids safe, entertained, and happy while you enjoy your workout.
What exactly do we have? Let’s start at the beginning.
For you moms who may want to work off a little baby weight, we have a nursery. That’s right, you can drop off your tike, and our fully trained and professional staff will ensure they are safe, engaged, and happy until you return. Great for kids aged 6 weeks through 2 years.
Next, we’ve got the Tot Room. Once your kiddos have graduated toddlerhood, they’re ready for the Tot Room. We’ve got music, science, arts and crafts, and a great club house they will love to explore. We also have a variety of snacks to ensure they don’t go hungry.
For those just a bit older, they can enjoy the Rockwall Room. That’s right, an actual rock wall. It’s a great place for the kids to hang out (for free with a family membership) and be active. Apart from climbing, they can enjoy foosball, racquetball, dodgeball, and so much more. It’s also a great place for them to work on their homework after school. Perfect for ages 6-13.
For all the kids in the Tot or Rockwall rooms, we have great scheduled activities throughout the week. From arts and crafts, to kids Zumba and more. Check out the schedule on our Kids Club page.
If you have a little swimmer, but you can’t be there to supervise while you’re working out, we’ve got you covered there, too. For your 6 to13-year-old, you can get them checked in with the lifeguards at the indoor pool. They get a special wristband, and the lifeguards will keep their eyes on your swimmers.
Also, in the winter months, the Aquatrack is open on the weekends. You can read about Aquatrack here.
Lastly, what about your older kids who would rather work out in the gym? For kids aged 10-13, they can meet up with a trainer for a free fitness orientation. The trainer will show them how to use some basic machines, and how to keep safe while working out.
Once they’re 14, they have full access to the club.
So, there you have it. No matter your kids’ ages or interests, we’ve got them covered. And when they’re covered, you’re covered.
For hours, schedules, and rates, check out the Kid’s Club area of the website, or feel free to call the front desk.
Now you have no more excuses. Leave the kids with us, and go get your well-deserved workout.
All we ask is that you remember to pick them up on your way out.
We wish you good health,
Columbia Basin Racquet Club
