We’re getting to the end of 2017. It’s a natural time to reflect on the last twelve months and assess your life. Hopefully, it’s been a good year for you.
Did you meet your goals? Did you get that promotion at work? Did you spend enough time with your kids?
Did you meet your fitness goals? Eat healthier? Workout more?
Or did the last few months undo all of that? Between Halloween candy, Thanksgiving turkey, Christmas ham, and eggnog (mmmm, eggnog), are your pants shrinking just a little bit?
January is a traditional time to turn over a new leaf, and start fresh. And we want to help you do just that.
The most common New Year’s resolution is to eat better and get back into shape. Sadly, most people who make that resolution give up by the end of January.
But here at CBRC, we don’t want you to make that a resolution. We want to make it a challenge. For 100 days or so.
The CBRC 100 Day Challenge is designed to give you the boost you need to achieve your short-term fitness goals, while giving you the tools and habits you need to live a healthy lifestyle for the rest of your life.
This is the 7th year we’ve had a fitness challenge. And every year it gets better.
The 100 Day Challenge is 14 weeks of intense, focused training. You will have five or six workouts per week. Between alloy training, team challenges, and access to all our facilities, we’ll keep you busy.
But remember, health is only 20-30% exercise. The rest is what you eat, and your daily habits.
That’s why we have our very own nutrition consultant work with you in a one-on-one setting, and in group seminars. You’ll learn how to make healthy food choices, without sacrificing taste. You’ll get a personalized nutrition plan, to help you achieve your goals the most efficient way possible.
All this is put together in a great team environment. When you join, you will be on a team of like-minded people with similar goals, led by one of our top trainers.
You’ll build strong friendships, and the camaraderie will help you get through the times when you just want to quit.
What if you don’t want to lose a lot of weight? Maybe you just have an extra five or ten pounds you could do without, but you really want to get stronger and more toned?
We have a plan for you, too. We’ll give you a plan designed to build muscle, and get you the tone you want.
Throughout the challenge we’ll regularly monitor your progress, and help you adjust your plan as necessary. At the beginning of the challenge, and again at the end, you will take a trip to our on-site Bod Pod, where we get your starting and ending body composition.
Every couple weeks, you will do regular weigh ins. And you always have access to your team coach, who can help you achieve your own, personal goals.
We guarantee great results if you stick to the program. But remember, the 100 Day Challenge is about changing habits for life. We will help get you started. And we’ll still be here to help after the challenge ends.
Registration is open now. You can talk to the front desk, or the fitness office to get you started. The challenge starts January 19th and goes until April 28th. You don’t even have to be a member of CBRC to join.
Lives will be changed. Will yours be one of them?
We wish you good health,
Columbia Basin Racquet Club
