Morgan Fewel, Fitness Director at CBRC explains that this nutrition program is not a “get fit quick” dieting program. Certified food coaches and dietitians work alongside you for a period of time and guide you in your journey to reach your goals, whatever they may be. In the Balanced Habits Life Nutrition Program, you can participate for 3, 6, or 12 months, making it customized to you. Open to both members and non-members, this program is accessible to the community.
How does it work?
Anyone can join this program at any time. Once registered, you’ll work with a certified food coach and registered dietitian to evaluate where you are now, and where you would like to be (regarding your weight, nutrition, etc.). You will receive portioned meal guidance and learn how to eat properly, with confidence!
Morgan explains that there are three main units, or portions that the program focuses on: protein, carbohydrates, and fat. To create a meal or snack, individuals pair these units with lists of other pairings, which results in perfectly tailored meal or snack. Through pairing meals with perfectly balanced units, and fasting in between meals, your body will adjust to use fat as an energy source, rather than carbohydrates. That’s why body fat literally melts off in this program!
Through Balanced Habits Life Nutrition, you will have regular appointments with your food coach, who you will have 1-on-1 contact with for the entire program. They’ll share advice, food recipes, and help you with your food journal. Together, you will review and evaluate your progress, and you will also have access to Styku 3D body imaging. This is a great tool that helps you visualize your progress with extreme precision.
With support, meal guidance, and freedom to choose your own food, you will find that you can still enjoy eating. You can still go out and enjoy a meal with friends, but you won’t feel guilty.
